Business Email Continuity

April 29th, 2009

Finally, Enterprise grade Exchange-based Business Continuity from the leader in Exchange
Keep your business running, even if your in-house Exchange server is down.
See how business continuity email works
Email is a critical business communication tool. For many small and medium businesses it is more important than telephone service. This makes it equally critical to ensure that your email is available 24×7, 365 days a year. 99.9% uptime is simply not good enough.
Building and maintaining a highly available Exchange server environment is expensive and complex to manage. Intermedia’s Business Continuity solution solves this problem by providing a hosted, standby Exchange-based email solution that always ready in case your on-premise Exchange server becomes unavailable.

More details are available on our website and we’ve even created a stunning video to see how Intermedia’s Business Continuity Solution works!

Implementation HTTP->HTTPS Redirect for WSS 3.0 Domains

April 28th, 2009

Starting today the implementation of HTTP > HTTPS redirects for WSS 3.0 domains is getting underway. The decision to implement it is well thought over and here are the main reasons for doing that:

1. to ensure security for SharePoint sites

2. to resolve long lasting problems with SharePoint search (in reality it does not work at all thru http)

Based on these factors and a number of smaller ones the decision to enforce it was made.

Within a month or so it will be implemented across our infrustructure. The change itself is transparent to the customers so no one should even notice that:)

April 22nd, 2009

If you wish to create many users on your account at once you may create them all manually. But if you have your own Active Directory or all the users are already created on some other server there is an option to import all the information about them to our system in one file. You may export the information about your users to CSV file for that. So we created an article to cover this topic:

Why does SpamStopper allow messages from Blocked senders to go through?

April 19th, 2009

We all know that spam messages are a real pain especially when they’re ’spoofed’ – when they seem to be coming from a fake e-mail address and it seems that your friend, your business partner is sending you junk messages. Sometimes it may even seem that you’re sending spam to yourself.

We are presenting this article hoping that it would help you to identify the real malefactor and blacklist him. Please take a look, this article is worth your attention!
