Intermedia Exchange Hosting: Why do I see corrupt contacts in Outlook/OWA address book?

Sometimes you may see a corrupt email address for the Company Contact in your Outlook/OWA address book. The email address of the contact looks like pretty weird -  793a5e2b-09c5-4005-9921-b30695a28ec1@exch016.msoutlookonline.net. If you check the contact in HostPilot it will have correct email address.

Intermedia Exchange Hosting: Outlook error: ‘The operation has been cancelled…’

Recently our Support team has come across a few cases regarding one peculiar problem so we decided to create an article devoted to this error –

Outlook error: ‘The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Contact your system administrator’
